About the Role
Join a growing trust and estate litigation practice at an established Bay Area law firm. In this senior role, you will lead complex matters, mentor attorneys, and help shape the group's future direction while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. What You'll Do
Lead complex trust, probate, and fiduciary litigation matters from inception through resolution, including case strategy and day-to-day oversight.
Represent trustees, executors, administrators, beneficiaries, seniors, and families in trust and probate disputes, including financial elder abuse matters.
Build and deepen client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
Contribute to business development and the continued growth of the practice.
Supervise, mentor, and provide feedback to associates, delegating work and supporting their development.
Help guide the direction and collegial culture of the Trust & Estate Litigation Group.
What We're Looking For
At least 8 years of dedicated trust and estate litigation experience in California, with active involvement in these matters.
Active California State Bar membership in good standing and a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
Strong experience with probate court matters, will and trust contests, fiduciary duty claims, accounting disputes, surcharge actions, and elder abuse litigation.
Ability to drive strategy on complex matters and supervise or mentor junior attorneys.
Leadership skills and interest in building a practice group, along with a collegial, collaborative approach.
Bay Area trust and estate litigation community connections are valued; an existing book of business is not required.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range is $225,000 to $275,000. Visa sponsorship is not available. Location
Hybrid, based primarily in San Mateo, California. Pleasanton and San Jose are also available office locations.
